Founded by Dr. Jana Lee
With more than 15 years as a teacher, administrator, literacy specialist, and educational consultant, Dr. Jana Lee began her career as a founding team member of a high-needs school in the South Bronx.
There, she navigated the realities of lesson planning, diverse learning needs, and special education challenges while helping build systems designed to support every student.
As her career evolved into school leadership, Jana became known for developing strategic, collaborative systems that aligned educators, leaders, families, and stakeholders around meaningful student success. Her work has consistently centered on using research- and data-driven decision-making to create sustainable improvement and individualized support for students and school communities.
These experiences ultimately led Jana to found Jana Lee & Associates — a firm dedicated to helping schools and educational leaders create clear, actionable pathways toward lasting impact, stronger school communities, and improved outcomes for students.
